"A HEALTHY WOMAN is a HEALTHY FAMILY!"

The Fergana branch of the "Yuksak Saloҳiyat" public association. "Healthy Woman - Healthy Family!" implemented the project in cooperation with the regional and district departments of mahalla and family support, regional and district health departments.

Project Mission: To promote awareness of 6500 beneficiaries from Margilan city, Ferghana, Altyaryk, Tashlak, Kushtepa, Baghdad and Rishtan districts on reproductive health and law, including negative consequences of kinship and early marriage, prevention of breast cancer, as well as creating conditions for receiving additional medical services in this area, through training of deputy heads of mahalla committees in 210 mahallas. In order to provide quality information and services, seminars and trainings were organized and conducted.

Training seminars

From March 11 to April 7, 2021 7 main trainings were conducted among population of Margilan, Fergana, Altyaryk, Tashlak, Kushtepa, Baghdad and Rishtan districts with participation of consultants on women affairs of mahalla committees, patron sisters of these mahallas. All participants received handouts and organized lunches. Information about the seminars was covered in social networks.

March 24, 2021 in the Altyaryk district of Fergana branch of the public association "Yuksak Salohiyat held the main seminar within the framework of the project "Healthy woman - healthy family". At the educational seminar, qualified specialists from the Fergana Regional Oncological Dispensary and the Regional Reproductive Center provided qualitative and necessary information to the participants among the population , specifically for women who are registered as low-income and needy people.

Director of the Fergana branch of the Yuksak Salohiyat Republican Public Association Z. Akhunova introduced the "Healthy Woman - Healthy Family" project to the participants.

During the seminar, the director of Fergana Regional Reproductive Center Abdurazzokova G. spoke on "The negative impact of early and intercourse marriages on the health of future children", Akhmedova Y., a gynecologist on "Female Hygiene. and urological problems", project coordinator N. Kalandarova delivered a lecture on "Healthy lifestyle of women - health of their future children".

At the end of the training seminar, participants were invited to lunch.

In addition, training seminars for women of reproductive age and district nurse practitioners were held by the end of 2021. Particularly encouraging is the increased interest in this issue among health professionals, additional seminars have been organized for visiting nurses in areas not included in the special group, and brochures and manuals have been distributed.

In addition, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation has organized seminars for nurses in areas that are not included in the special group.

Information about the training seminar was broadcast on the regional TV channel Fergana 24.
