"Enhancing the potential of civil society to strengthen labor rights and employment of vulnerable groups of citizens and promote transformational economic reforms," funded by the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor of the U.S. Department of State, ACTED.
The mission of the project: Within 6 months to raise awareness on improving labor rights compliance of 80 small and medium-sized enterprises in 4 regions of Fergana oblast and to contribute to the creation of an inclusive working environment.

On October 9, 2024 in the conference hall of DELUX hotel of Fergana city Fergana branch of public association “Yuksak Salokhiyat” held a training seminar on the topic of the project “Labor Law” - “Important norms in the new labor market”.
✅ The seminar was attended by 20 leaders of medium and small businesses from Farghana city, representatives of ANAUz of Ferghana region.
🔰 At the event, participants received extensive information on raising awareness of small and medium-sized business leaders on compliance with labor law standards and promoting an inclusive work environment, familiarized themselves with new provisions and changes in the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding the employment of persons with disabilities.
♻️ The participants were tested to check their knowledge in this area at the beginning of the event The management of the Fergana branch of the public association “Yuksak Salokhiyat” expresses its gratitude to the heads of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Fergana region and “Tadbirkor ael” association of Fergana city for their assistance in organizing this training.





📣📣📣On November 25, 2024, a seminar-training was held in the building of the Society of the Blind in Fergana city by the Fergana regional branch of the public association "Yuksak Salohiyat" under the project "Labor Law" on the topics "Advantages of hiring persons with disabilities and benefits to employers when hiring an employee with disabilities," as well as "Important norms in the new Labor Code."
This project is implemented within the framework of "Enhancing the potential of civil society to strengthen labor rights and employment of socially vulnerable groups of the population and stimulate transformational economic reforms," funded by the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor of the U.S. Department of State with financial support from ACTED.
✅ The event was attended by representatives of Madad NGO, the Fergana regional branch of the Association of Disabled People of Uzbekistan, the regional public fund, and heads of unitary enterprises.
🔰 The seminar focused on international and national labor standards, ILO Conventions, labor relations participants, specific categories of workers, including women and persons with disabilities, and increasing their knowledge on applying relevant provisions of the new Labor Code, ensuring decent and safe working conditions, concluding employment contracts, fixed-term employment contracts, and collective agreements.
♻️ Participants were tested at the beginning and end of the event to assess their knowledge in the field.


📣📣📣 On November 26, 2024 in the building of Fergana City Society of the Blind on the basis of the project “Labor Law” of the Fergana Regional Branch of the public association “Higher Authority” a training seminar on the topics “Preferences in hiring persons with disabilities and benefits for employers in hiring employees with disabilities” and “Important norms in the new Labor Code” was held in the building of Fergana City Society of the Blind.
📌📌📌📌This project is implemented with financial support from ACTED under the project “Strengthening Labor Rights and Employment of Vulnerable Populations and Building Civil Society Capacity to Advance Transformative Economic Reforms” funded by the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor of the U.S. Department of State.
✅ The event was attended by members of the Fergana Regional Association of Entrepreneurs, businessmen, Fergana Regional Branch of the Association of Disabled Persons and heads of unitary enterprises.
🔰 Special attention at the event was paid to such topics as international and national labor standards, ILO conventions, increasing the level of knowledge of participants of labor relations, certain categories of workers, including women, and persons with disabilities, on the application of relevant norms of the new Labor Code, ensuring decent, safe working conditions, conclusion of labor and fixed-term employment contracts, collective agreements.
♻️ At the beginning and end of the event, participants were tested to check their knowledge of the topic.



📣📣📣On December 26 of the current year a round table on the results of the project ‘Right to Work!" of the Fergana branch of the public association ‘Yuksak Salokhiyat’ on the basis of the programme ‘Enhancing the potential of civil society to strengthen labour rights and employment of socially vulnerable population and stimulate transformational economic reforms.’
‼️The purpose of the event was to discuss reports, work done and future plans for the implementation of the project ‘Right to Work!" ’. of the Fergana branch of the public association ‘Yuksak Salokhiyat’. on the topic ‘Advantages of hiring persons with disabilities and benefits to employers when hiring an employee with disabilities’.
At the event, special attention was paid to such topics as increasing the knowledge of participants of labour relations, individual categories of workers, including women, persons with disabilities, on the application of the relevant provisions of the new Labour Code, ensuring decent, safe working conditions, conclusion of employment contracts and fixed-term employment contracts, as well as collective agreements.
During the roundtable, Memorandums of Cooperation were signed between the Fergana branch of the public association ‘Yuksak Salokhiyat,’ the Fergana regional territorial branch of the Association of Disabled People of Uzbekistan, and 18 small and medium-sized business organisations.
The event was very interesting, SMEs asked a lot of questions.
🔹The public association ‘Yuksak Salokhiyat’ presented letters of appreciation and souvenirs to those who actively participated in the ‘Right to Work!" ’ project.
