"A HEALTHY WOMAN IS A HEALTHY FAMILY!"

The Fergana branch of the public association "Yuksak Salohiyat" "Healthy woman - healthy family!" implemented the project in cooperation with the regional regional, district departments of mahalla and family support, regional and district health departments.

Project Mission: Raising awareness of 6,000 women of reproductive age among the population of the cities of Margilan, Fergana, Altyaryk, Tashlak, Kushtepa districts, Baghdad and Rishtan districts on reproductive health issues, including the negative consequences of consanguineous and early marriages, prevention of breast cancer, creation of conditions for additional medical services in this area. In order to provide quality information and services, seminars and trainings were organized and conducted.

Round table at the beginning of the project.

On March 10, 2021, a round table meeting on the project "Healthy Woman - Healthy Family" was held in the building of the regional library of Fergana, which was attended by representatives of the regional department for mahalla and family support, the regional health department, Margilan, Baghdad, Altyaryk, Kushtepa, Rishtan, Tashlak, Fergana districts of the Fergana region, representatives of the departments of motherhood and childhood of district medical associations, oncologists, directors of regional centers of reproductive health, chief nurses. This event was held with the participation of representatives of the regional center for reproductive health, the regional oncological dispensary - specialists who are partners of the branch. The event was actively attended by a number of heads of public organizations in our region, media representatives.

The goals and objectives of the project, the results of a sociological study, the negative consequences of early and consanguineous marriages, as well as the situation in the field of breast cancer prevention were presented at the Round Table. Further action plans for the project were announced, timelines and responsible persons were agreed.

The participants took an active part, after all the presentations an active discussion began, after the Round Table, the participants were invited to lunch.
